Loaded Bowl slate today - Friday 12/27

They consistently fail miserably in creating exciting bowl matchups. While I understand the constraints of conference tie-ins, there’s still plenty of room to craft more engaging and competitive pairings that would make the games far more exciting to watch.

The Transfer Portal and opt outs have killed Bowl Season. The games are not a fair reflection of the teams playing in them.

e.g. Oklahoma are starting their backup QB today - a backup QB that has already been recruited over.

Word was OU had some stud receivers coming in. They were all staying at the hotel Mateer was drawing up plays which was the reason Mateer arrived at OU later than expected

From what I’ve seen today, the plays ain’t the problem. Holding on to the ball when it’s thrown to you…. is the issue. They’ve dropped enough open passes to have blown this game open.
