Some of yall need to resign yourself to our new reality. The canes as we know it are simply part of an amazing history. We were an incredible anomaly that shook the CFB world for 2.5 decades. Those days are long gone. There are over 15 years to prove my point. No top coach will come here due to money. Top up and comers will avoid us because of lack of respect and money point above. We have no bag game to lure elite studs, and without said top evaluators we won't find diamonds in the ruff as we did in the past. You can call me a pessimistic **** until blue in the face but I call it being a realist. It hurts but I shed a tear saying goodbye to CIS and especially Kenneth. I know we never met, but I can't help but think that if I could just introduce him to the everglades and endless fields of cane,.. He might just leave New York behind.
