But makes sense if we are penciling in Patterson as strong (not suggesting we should hand anything to him, we are just kinda thin back there unless Lucas or D.Brown end up at safety). Obviously I think Day could be in the mix too and hope so in the long run.

But that is the point… if those individuals got their numbers retired there are quite a few others who deserve the same honor and since that isn’t feasible… put them all in rotation.

Either way they’re back in the fold.

Simeon Barrow wore 10 last year and a patch on his jersey to honor George Mira. He was a transfer who had never played a down as Cane and was given that number. Don’t think the numbers will be looked as sacred anymore. But Hayden Lowe will have a Testaverde patch
