First off his name is "Red." That in and of itself should say it all. Second, he is a 70+ year old Texan. What do you guys expect him to think about Strong's hire.

Maybe we can get Nick Saban to come in and coach our DBs. If he proves himself, maybe we can promote him to DC in a few years. But, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Can some of you stop with the adulation of Strong. We get it you like him because he's black. He's been average, based on his record, until TB stepped foot on campus and L'ville never finished higher than 22nd in recruiting rankings. The best team L'ville had beaten during his tenure was UF.

Big thrill, he beat the crap out of us. We beat the gator and thought we were back -- turned out the just suked worse than us. Strong will probably do well at UT. Bar is not that high-- one NC in like 30 or 40 years. This booster was Brown's buddy and did not want him fired. Would have complained about anybody other than Saban.
Strong out coached us in every area and then he poured on ,old school cane style. He is going to win big in Texas. He is a great defensive coach,just like Saban! They played with emotion and swagger,kinda like we used to(Pre-Shala)!!! We got raped!!!

He got lucky Bridgewater turned down Miami and LSU and decided to just walk on their team. Strong didn't even recruit him or develop him at all. Pure luck. He gets no credit for that. Or for fielding great defenses.
