Like I said the UT job is going to crush Strong

Dude clearly has a problem that has nothing to do with Strong's ability as people have been saying for years that he is deserving of a good HC job.

All he needs to do is win, and he'll be more powerful than any booster there. He'll have all the supporters he needs. What a douchebag saying that he might be a good coordinator or position coach.

Just out of curiosity, why are people so confident in Strong? He had a great QB with an average supporting cast playing in one of the worst conferences while at Louisville. What gives?

Probably has something to do with that 36-9 drubbing we took at the hands of his team.
 
I'm sure if he drowns OU and has them rolling in the big 12 by year 2 or 3 these big booster will be all smiles and happily signing big checks like always

Winning seems to cure everything

Yeah but people aren't drooling over Cutcliffe who also destroyed us. I just don't get the love for Strong whose his success may be attributed to a first round and likely no 1 overall qb. Just wondering why some on here are so high on him

I looked it up, Mccombs is 86. He really is powerful. I lived in austin this yr. his name is everywhere. All the top car dealerships have his name. He is mr business in central texas. He is wrong strong will be a winner
 
He is a beast recruiter. He should be locking down the state of Texas and hand picking whomever he wants for the next few years imo. It'll be interesting to see the Texas vs Texas A&M, Strong vs Sumlin recruiting battles

I could recruit Texas if I was head coach of UT. If he wins all is good ala Saban but if he doesn't fast this will go downhill fast.
