Man, I really hope we would never get to a point of moving on from someone because of an injury. I hope Citizen will have a really nice career here when it's all said and done.
Not about Citizen specifically (I don't know anything about his situation), but as much as it sucks the only think practical is to move on from injured players if they are no longer able to contribute at the level needed. Now what should happen (and I am almost certain does) is that the school takes them off the roster but still allows them to attend school and covers the cost of their scholarship if they choose to remain at Miami.

Yes, totally agree. I just didn't like the posters verbiage to say we should drop him because of the injury and the potential he never makes it back to full health. There was some talking about him being the lead man last season before the injury. Kid is full of promise imo.

Stacking chips... Wish we were in the same position. The ability to recruit over a blue chipper, moral or not, is a great problem to have.

In due time...
That may be true, but Ward is a one-year rental. By signing him you’re saying your five star from last year isn’t ready, nor is the four-star back up from this year. I also presume USC has a top rated quarterback coming in this cycle.

Ward isn’t signing with anybody unless he’s going to start.

USC would seem like an odd place for him because of that, at least to me.

I agree with you on this. Definitely sends a message.

I still stand by my statement.
