Ditto with fumbles buddy. That's why I said interceptions AND fumbles. God some of our fans are so dumb
What if I told you one of these QBs averaged a turnover 1 out of every 29 passes and the other was 1 out of 32? 🤣

I’m sure you’re also aware Washington State averaged 2.6 ypc against FBS teams (131 out of 133 FBS teams) and gave up 39 sacks (123 out of 133 FBS teams)…who knows how many pressures and hurries on top of that.

Howard is very good imo, Ward is a notch above. Context matters, and when an opposing defense knows you’re one-dimensional + already at a talent disadvantage, it makes what he did that much more impressive imo.

Yes, it does, I think Howard is a better fit that's all. And I don't buy the talent disadvantage

Wow, stats don't mean everything. I think Howard is a better fit, you don't. I prefer Gabriel but that's a pipe dream

I do prefer Ward but I don't understand calling fans idiots over made up logic. If Ward is turnover prone so is Howard. Howard was actually more turnover prone in 2023.

I know this may sound crazy and it’s witch craft but they could play together in 10 personnel. I know I know I’m talking crazy
Yeah, that definitely would be hard to pull off... you're a crazy man!

Jeez I totally forgot he committed to Oregon too. So two guys did that since 06 or 07 whenever Demarcus Van Dyke came here.
Just pulled the numbers and since 247 began tracking the decommits (2012) Miami has had 12 players decommit (not sure about committing somewhere else in between) then re-commit.

- 8 of the 12 ended up transferring again.

- 0 were ever named 1st team all acc.

- Jacolby George could change my last statement next year (or add to the first depending on QB choice)

Sacks aren't just an oline stat - it's a qb stat too.

Swap Sam Howell and/or Russell Wilson with Mahomes and/or Goff and Suddenly The Lions/Chiefs are giving up the highest sack rate in the NFL, and the Commies/Broncos aren't.

Because I clearly stated interceptions AND fumbles and he told me a quick Google search would show Howard had more interceptions. Ward had 11 fumbles and lost 7 plus 7 interceptions = 14 turnovers. Howard had 10 interceptions and 1 fumble = 10 turnovers. In what universe is 10 turnovers more turnover prone than 14 turnovers?

Ward is much better than Howard. Most of Ward’s turnovers happen when he has pressure in his face. Behind a good O line, this kid will THRIVE. He’s the prize. Mario needs to do everything in his power to get this kid.
That's your opinion, and while I may be in the minority, I prefer Howard over Ward. I want Gabriel but doubt that will happen

10 and 1 certainly does not = 10 turnovers, but Howard lost 2 fumbles. Howard had over 100 less pass attempts and only 3 less turnovers. Meaning if he had the same volume of passes as Ward he would have had more. His turnover ratio was 29:1 vs 32:1 for Ward. Simple math.
