Yes, neither Ward nor UM has confirmed with YOU that they are interested in each other but On3 (not Ferman's UM sub-site) reports today that plans are in the works for a possible Ward visit to Miami this weekend.
I seemed to be only one who thought this would happen.
Either way, I can't see both him and Brashard Smith on team this year

This article mentions his 2023 TWP. I think you can search any QB’s name with turnover worth plays and find at least one article that shows the stat. But of course TWP isn’t a perfect stat. Doesn’t take into account the context with which the QB threw the TWP. But it’s still a better stats than td/turnover ratio which is what people keep arguing about in here like it’s the year 2005.
“One of the concerning elements of Ward’s game in 2023 was the turnover opportunities he provided the defense. According to PFF, Ward committed 20 ‘turnover worthy plays’ as a passer, which ranked 12th most in the country. Ward committed four ‘turnover worthy plays’ as a passer in two games—against UCLA and Arizona.”
I have no doubt we have reached out to them. But all I said is are they just as interested in us? People are posting like crazy making comparisons and debating who’s better and all this other stuff. Wasn’t there a long thread on Will Rogers too and now that seems to be off the board at the snap of a finger. But hey, if cats want to debate it, all power to them.
I read the board just like you playa and that is the first I have seen any information about Ward possibly visiting this weekend. Appreciate that info. No sarcasm.

I think this was in regards to Payton with FSU. Which could gum up the works on some kids. Slow down other things they are working on.

If their names are coming up by certain people there’s mutual interest. With Rodger’s I believe D$ or myself was the first to say we’d moved on and that was pretty early in the process. That was right after the visit. It was never serious , just an evaluation type situation.
It’s always been the same guys that’s been mentioned on Cis. With Ward then Howard at the top of the board .
