Let's talk numbers

This assuming no one declares for the draft early.

Correct me if I'm wrong on any of these guys that might not have a football scholarship.

QB- i think at least one will go
rb-Trayone will prob go unless Gus is a grad transfer
wr-cager starting? the staff ripped him openly in spring. If we get 4 wr's, Langham might be told to transfer.
TE-they all come back.
OL- Jones, Knighton, Milo, Mahoney, Loftus all need to be GONE.
DL-Fines played hard when given a chance. i have no issue with him staying but if we needed space, i could see him going.
LB- McCray is the one i would axe.
CB- Depth issues prevent it but Mayes needs to go and if henley cant get PT now, no reason to keep him around. if we sign alot of CB's,
i would urge these two to go play for butch at FIU

I'm all for building depth but I don't want to see us sign guys just to sign them. I'm down for stacking our chips to bet on a 10 win season next year and cashing in on over signing in 2018.

If the dude can't help us next year then it doesn't matter why take him if you think there's better prospects that are realistic next year

No more of that wait till next year crap.

And no one is advocating signing bad players just to sign them. Rick should be able to sign a class of 50 in his first real cycle at UM if he had to.

Another clueless post by fan cheese.

The wait for next year stuff NEVER works out - heck, look at the famed 2018 DB class at how it's slowly starting to come undone. We can't afford to have the "hold the schollies till next year" mantra since we need players NOW. I'm not saying settle for Plan C kids, but ****, Richt should be able to find 30 top notch kids!

We're at 63 with Knighton graduating. Can see several others leave due to playing time or just not good enough.

If Kaaya comes back, and he should, Rosier probably doesn't. You can also argue Shirreff's doesn't either.
One of Yearby, Gus or Gray doesn't come back.
At least two OL don't come back-Loftus, Milo, Jones, Mahoney...take your pick
Henley probably doesn't stick

This is very conservative but it's 4-6 easily...could be more.

We need 3 or 4 juco or grad transfers .. 1 OL. 1CB, 1 LB, 1WR this would help with the quality of depth. Flip Elliot Baker, Gary Johnson, WR to look at Brandon Martin , https://www.aufamily.com/forums/topic/150723-2017-4-juco-wr-brandon-martin-au-decommit-7616/

Brandon Martin looks better than most of our targets and have 3 to play 3
