Fletcher is very good but I have a feeling people rate him so highly because he is from SFla where Martinez is notThey are so similar. Both very good. 1a and 1b basically.

Martinez is starting to get more comfortable each week. Aside from his yards after contact and him punishing defenders, I've noticed his feet are looking quicker lately.Still not seeing why people prefer Fletcher over Martinez. That is not me ****ting on Fletcher he is very good. I just see the same order but flip Martinez and Fletcher.
I would like to see 20 for 160 but I don’t think he will get there. We don’t run it like that.Martinez is starting to get more comfortable each week. Aside from his yards after contact and him punishing defenders, I've noticed his feet are looking quicker lately.
He's due for one of those games where he absolutely dominates... 20 carries for 160 will happen before the season is over.
Last 3 games he's averaged 6, 10, and 7.4 ypc. To me he's James Conner 2.0

1. MartinezOk.... So let's rank our backs now
I think Lyle takes over for Martinez next year. Fletcher keeps same role. Hopefully we see even more split backs with Fletcher lead blocking.Fletcher is a great 2nd RB in the backfield.
You'd have to be blind to think that Lyle isn't our best RB but he's young.
Fletcher is a very good back and only 2nd to Martinez right now. He does a lot of things pretty well. It does seem every game that he has 2-3 runs where he should be able to get a big run, but he just runs into traffic.Fletcher could be better if he had any vision. Imagine how many yards he’d have if he didn’t run slap into an OL 4 yards down the field every game
Fletchers role reminds me of Najee DavenportI think Lyle takes over for Martinez next year. Fletcher keeps same role. Hopefully we see even more split backs with Fletcher lead blocking.
