Lets focus on VT....arent they very undersized on defense?

Their defense is not a good match up for us. A team like BC can run right at VT play after play because their RB's are bigger than VT's LB's. I do not think their defense will have as much trouble tackling Crawford and Clements. In the passing game, they have the DB's to match up with our guys and they will come after Morris.

This game will come down to D'Onofrio and the defense. We have to completely shut down VT and even create TO's. That offense is absolute sh*t with no playmakers. Can't let VT score 17-20 points where Thomas dinks and dunks against a soft zone and gets yardage on his feet when needed. With Morris at QB and our best playmakers out, I don't see see us beating them if they score 17 or more.

They also have a phenomenal power back Williams. We don't have anyone close.

Yup, we don't have that, unless Edwards turns into Stephen McGuire overnight. Crawford has had most of his success running between the tackles this year, but he hasn't faced against like VT.

I agree. Their DBs are awesome, and their two DTs will eat up our interior OL. That D is a bad matchup for us.

If we don't get after Thomas regularly it'll be a long night for the good guys. UM fans think he's a total bum, but he isn't. He only coughs it up when you get pressure in his face. We don't do that.

Crawford's a good little player, but he's a bad matchup for that D. He doesn't carry a load like Williams, so for fans to think we can do what BC did is misplaced. I'm surprised we haven't loaded up the Gus Bus yet. There have been plenty of freshmans RBs who have accomplished a lot at this level. I'd get him ready for Vag Tech because I wouldn't go into that game thinking Dallas is going to run through Vag Tech.
 
luckily for vt our blitzes will be easy to pick up and we'll mostly be giving logan Thomas all day to throw.

Undersized, and STILL our massive OL will not be able to consistently get much push against them and allow all sorts of penetration.
 
What the **** happened to Gus anyway? I'd like to see him get in the mix, but I have my doubts dor VT. He Freshmans wiffs on a blitz pickup and could get Mo kilt....
 
absolutely no reason to lose this game.

LAST year, AT HOME, we beat this team.

this year, we get them at home again. i understand we are far from being back, but at least show me progress and beat the team you scheduled for homecoming.
