Let’s Talk Staff

I wouldn't be surprised if Field is retained, but Mario's TE is also his special teams coordinator (Bobby Williams) and he's been working with him for a long time, both at Oregon and Mario took him from Bama when he got the HC job in 2018.

That one will be interesting. He may get unconventional and keep both in some capacity, but how it shakes out will be interesting because both can't coach Tight Ends.
Bobby Williams knows what he's doing. Only question would be age (63) at this point.

I would keep Likens. Agree to move Fields and DVD to recruiter roles.

With the budget we have, I would be shooting for the stars.

OC - Brady
WR - Likens
TE / ST - Williams
OL - Mirabal
RB - Seider

DC - Schumann or Mason
DB - Raymond / throw the bank at him
DL/AHC- Pathridge
LB - Ken Wilson
I would personally rather have McClendon than Likens

Who would you like to keep?

Who would you like to kick to the curb?

Who are you indifferent about?

Keep:

Likens — best WR coach we’ve had since George McDonald. Has recruited well and developed the players on the roster. Also like having a former OC on staff.

T-Rob — We need him on the trail. I understand some of the criticism revolving around the play of the secondary, but understand he was forced to adapt to Manny’s scheme.

Kick to the curb:

Patke
Simpson
Aristide
Justice

Indifferent:

Hickson — done an admirable job, but runningback coaches are a dime a dozen.

DVD / Fields — move to off-the-field roles.
I think I read somewhere thst Mario is def brining his wr coach with him

But man I’m glad to be done with Simpson
He was the most hyped coach I have ever seen on here
