I could see us on passing downs using our tweeners more aggressively.

On first two downs, I still see this team as a base 4-3. We have neither the NG nor the 3-4 ILBs yet for anything else, IMO.

Bond, McCord, Terry are all tweeners. Agree with Lu on AQM.

Terry was a MLB on the spring depth chart, not sure if we'll see him at DE. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd strings are skewed due to Utough but I'm pretty sure the positions listed are accurate.

Golden alway has good things to say about Cornileus and he plays Armbrister a good amount. If I had to guess they'd return as the two linebackers in the nickel.

That's why I said we can't make our base a 3-4. Our personnel looks NOTHING like their's.

I don't think we can line up in a 3-4 on 1st and 2nd downs.

I don't think anyone was talking about a base 3-4 defense. Golden has said he wants his fronts to be multiple, but the personel hasn't been right yet to implement many 3-4 aspects yet. We're just talking about the personel and if we have what we need to go multiple yet. No one's talking about switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4 base defense.

This has been one of the biggest issues on defense the last few years. I think we'll see a big improvement in this area as Perryman is already pretty solid in coverage, by all accounts Figs is solid in coverage and Gaines should know the defense very well by now.
