Wow some of the takes in this one
Been about 15 years I’ve heard that one…That 'next cycle' excuse works out almost never.
Joyner over Bonitto....
So far???? He transferred alreadyJoyner was a god take, let's not rewrite history because he hasn't delivered so far. The issue was that he was a project, and we needed to take at least one, arguably two more who knew the position. It should never have been Joyner over Bonito. It should have been both. Bear in mind we only had a counter problem this class and last. We had room before that, in most years lots of room.
The issue is that Joyner isn't a LB, and Bonito is, despite us reading him otherwise when we were recruiting him. We assessed both poorly. Joyner should have been evaluated as a DE. It's an imperfect science but when you take too many a kid on the 'maybe he's a LB, maybe a DE' mindset, you may wind up with depth at DE, but you are unlikely to have good LBs. That's been an issue of ours.Joyner was a god take, let's not rewrite history because he hasn't delivered so far. Very concerning if the staph was ok with that loli think its a sign the staff is happy with jennings, wilder, and steed. Gordiner might never came back the way he has gotten injured.

Usually our staffs we hire don't know a fuqin thing about recruiting and we shouldn't pat them on the back until proven otherwise. The GOAT
