I think we needed Ty Jackson as our local LB option if we were going to end up w/the best LB core in the nation.

What's wrong with Marcelin, Nix and Melendez as the group this class? Sounds good to me.

There's nothing wrong with it per se and he wants to be a Cane and seems to have committed the moment he got a green light. I'm glad to have anyone that wants to be here on board.

But IMHO, Jackson has a much higher ceiling and remember what I said in the OP. Will this be the best LB core in the nation? This is an extremely high standard/goal and IDK that Marcelin gets you to that level.

It just seems like Alexander never had significant interest in the Canes.

I've had Marcelin pencilled in UM's class for over 2 years now…Good take.

I had a higher grade on Jackson as an olb.

Marcelin always remained in play it seemed they would of only taken Winters over him.
