I get the idea a coach shouldn’t be fired after a year but that’s given there is something to give hope. Some kind of sign, any sign that it can be turned around. Manny hasn’t done a single thing right. The idea that HE wants an assistant type role for Zo is ridiculous. He wants to be a puppet master and wasn’t even that good of a **** puppet.

Points to Manny and Blake for firing a guy whose offense was dead last in 3rd down conversions and who got shut out against a glorified high school team in a bowl game. How ironic is it the the guy who came in to fix “the culture”, is part of the toxic culture that needs fixing. This whole Zo thing was like somebody kicking an ant hill, and now ants are scurrying all over the place. And people wonder why the kids mailed it in.

We are desperate for any hope whatsoever right now. If Manny knew for a fact he wouldn’t have his balls cut by Zo I honestly believe he would have openly lobbied for him.

Chill Mr. Messiah :ROFLMAO: you knew these guys was going to come for your head if this didn't pan out, the way you were stick wagging with confidence. Regardless I think you are a solid and knowledgable poster that sometimes I agree with and sometimes I don't. But thats the beauty of an opinion. Don't go back and forth all day with guys on this, just let it be. Things are dynamic in this business, wether you were right or wrong. My advice just take a more measured approach next time you have information that you might think is legit.

Typical error regarding Barry Switzer, who was a phenomenal head coach and did an amazing job regaining that Super Bowl title in 1995. He became only the second coach in NFL history to regain the title one season after being dethroned.

Barry Switzer ate the hot dog during the Pro Bowl. It was not during a Cowboy game. Switzer ate the hot dog because he didn't care about all star games. He said they were a deserved vacation for his players. He operated exactly the same way when he was assigned to coach the all-star games in college. The pro scouts wanted NFL simulation but Switzer wanted the players to savor the experience and not worry about the result.

As always, opinion of Barry Switzer is one of the great litmus tests of all time. He was unbeaten in bowl games against Paterno, Bowden and Osborne combined.
 
Blake James can rot in **** for the bait and switch road show he is on right now, dangling a chief of staff title in front of the fans, meanwhile he’s gonna keep letting Manny drive the proverbial UM football car right over the cliff

All you need at Miami is a headcoach with balls, who actually wants to be at Miami, the rest will take care of itself. The penn disgrace moron never wanted to be here, that's why he said this is a "destination job" and people ate that **** up like he was saying something good. Speaking of which, and this goes to show how phucked up this administration is in the head, the penn disgrace moron resided over the worst defenses in UM football history and not once did you see or hereof flakes james trying to intervene and make recommendations on staff replacements in 4years, all of a sudden, coach richts in,wins Coach of the year, the coastal division, a bowl game etc. etc., is an alumni, and after year 3, that clown called himself trying to intervene with a proven program builder & headcoach. worst thing they could've done was let slip that A Highsmith was being talked to for this role. now theyre all sorts of ****ed when he isnt hired
