I will gladly eat crow on this one if it happens, as I thought there was no chance the University of Miami would finally make a competent decision regarding the football program. That said, his success will be a function of the degree to which they empower him. If they treat him the way they have consultants during coaching searches, which is to ignore everything they present and view them very much as a check of the box, then the results will be similar and he will move on to better pastures. He's had too good of a front office football career to waste his time. Fingers crossed.
