All being said, why make an announcement tomorrow if you are still going back n forth? Makes no sense at all.

Only reason he announces early is to make sure he has a spot with Alabama. Makes no sense to announce now if you're so torn unless you're picking Alabama to hold a spot.

See that makes sense but IMO I think he's realizing between Shavers, JJ and him one will transfer from Bama and as confident as he is why chance it with them knowing if Kiffen leaves they're back to 3 yards and a cloud of dust

Should go without saying, but in this young man's life this is a huge decision - one chance to get this right. I think his heart says UM because of Richt, but his head says Alabama because of their more recent success. I think if he continues to hold out, our chances really go up because of his connection to Richt.

I keep saying this and I think it's something ALL offensive commits for Bama need to consider:

There's no way Lane Kiffin is an Offensive Coordinator after this season. He's going to take a head coaching job somewhere after this season. No question.

So in all likelihood, Bama will be looking for a NEW OC after this season, so everyone on the offensive side of the ball will be learning a new scheme entirely. And you never know what you're going to get there.

Richt IS the OC at Miami. There won't be a change in offensive philosophy anytime soon. Chances of playing better in the long run are better at UM.

people are really gonna tune in to a teenager's "decision" based on the OP? I mean, it's not gonna matter who's watching, right? There's literally no good smart reason to choose Alabama based on all the facts in play here. Only reason to pick them is if he's a front-running toolbag. I expect he'll follow the crowd and announce Alabama. This is especially true if he announces any time soon, as you can be sure it's to lock up a spot.

I remember Jimmy from CaneInsider and he was a real straight shooter with good info.

I've never posted much on here because I felt like I transferred into a supermax after going from CBS to CaneInsider to here, so my plan was just keep my head down before someone tries stealing the dessert off my lunch tray. Mike Ross has got my back now though.
