Tears Last Nerve III: Head to Head Against Deion (was Neon Deion Coaching Megathread)

UGA takes more recruits from us on an annual basis than Colorado has ever even offered.

And nah I definitely don’t see much vitriol aimed at UGA on here, way more dreamy eyed admiration & respect with people saying we need to be more like UGA & follow their method.

There isn’t a single player in this class that we’re after that we’ll be legitimately battling Colorado for, there’s quite a few for UGA though.
I guess you missed the coach "Prime" video before McClain announced his decommitment. He was popping off about taking a player (coaches can't name names) away and doing his dance in the Colorado snow. As a man a little younger than him, I found it cringe worthy.

I think people just hate the hype.

Honestly, I think the insecurity is if Deion does well in CU, then he’ll be sniffing around his home state poaching players like Cormani.
I'll speak for myself. It's the bravado as a coach that makes me dislike him. I watched his cryptic YouTube video before the McClain decommitment where he was bragging about taking a player away from a school (couldn't name names per NCAA) and doing his dance that he did as a player, but it was out in the Colorado snow. That may be cool to the kids, but as a man not much younger than him, I just cringed.

He just gives me Manny Diaz vibes x 10. Sure he can coach DBs, but hasn't accomplished anything as a head coach to be pumping his chest out. I don't consider taking a bunch of D-1 players and beating up on FCS HBCU schools being successful.

Great that he can recruit. We'll see if he can really coach D-1 vs D-1.

I’m a protect my turf / family guy with a JJ mindset,

Jimmy Johnson;

“ you either play for me or get beat by me”

Mario is picking his family to go to war with, these kids that turned away from us ( whom has there best interest at heart ) to play for HEADLINES and not for the heart of Miami whom always cares deeply for there players and there families.

None of these CU players interest me NONE , we put or love into these kids we selected whom intern does the same and are all in.

If they come knocking we should answer the door as say who are you we don’t know you , you have the wrong address, good by.

Can’t even say if he can coach DBs the guy still hasn’t developed anyone. When he coached high school who did he even help develop?
