FWIW, I thought the kid was doing pretty good!! Matter of fact, from what I saw, I thought he could have been the top candidate to fill in for Gunter, base on skillset on that side of the field.

Is he a pure cover corner? No, but he is a good tackler, and a competitor (like Gunter), and would have been the next guy in to give us what #37 provides the team.

We still have bodies, but now we only have 1 physical corner...
 
With Chad,Jackson and Harris joining AQM,Mccord,Kamalu and Chick.I'm surprised Hoilett is not beating him out the door.

Question is: Which one of these guys can fill in for a gimply Gunter, and still give us a physical run-support presence off the edge?

Howard is no slouch physically he doesn't shy away from hitting. You do have a valid point though.

I herd Hope was in the dog house for a while.

Thought he was going to be a solid player for us back from the time he enrolled early. It's a shame because we are pretty thin at corner and most of the guys are finesse guys..

How are we thin at cb with Gunter,Tracy,Elder,Burns,Crawford,Dortch,Mayes and Lewis 3.That's 8 cbs,you may not like the overall talent but depth is not an issue.
