I think there’s going to be a lot of truth to this. Right now people are dropping stupid money even at mediocre or failing programs.NIL will be wild for the next 2-3 years. It will settle when people aren't getting any ROI. Boosters are burning cash right now because they think it will make a difference, but when they realize their teams still suck they'll be more selective
But when reality sets in, people are going to be less inclined to pay bums, and the really lucrative deals are going to go to the good players that deserve it most. Just like it was when it was all under the table.
