I can’t edit your post. That’s what I replied to.

Edit: my bad I was looking for the really gif. But I was replying to the “mighty” post of yours. Still applies

Provided they hold on today, he’s about to snag his second 10-win season at Ole Miss in four seasons.

That’s as many as Mario has in his head coaching career, also done in a weaker conference. Kiffin has 4 10-win seasons entering today, could get a 5th. He’s done it at three programs and gotten better at FAU and now Ole Miss, an upward trajectory.

If he’s mediocre, then your standards are at ridiculous levels.
Lol, Lane has a career 63% Win% as a P5 HC less Covid. Mario has 69%. In P5 they both have 2 10+ win seasons. Mario has also finished higher rated than Lane has. Even though Lane has had 7 seasons and Mario has had 4.

The entire basis of people think Lane Kiffin is some elite coach and would be so much better than Mario is basically what he did at FAU vs what Mario did at FIU. Up to the person to decide how important that is to them.

I think taking out the FAU and FIU to tabulate their winning percentage is a bit selective. When it's apples to apples, it still counts.

It’s apples to apples when FIU had like 8 wins in their history when Mario took over - including 0 the prior season? Mario is responsible for 2/4 of FIUs winning seasons (Butch the other 2 after Mario). Kiffin responsible for 2/5 of FAUs (Schnelly the other 3 before Kiffin).

Again it’s up to you to determine how important that is. I would say Kiffin results were more impressive, but am I going to use that as some major indicator worth more than what they do at the P5 level? No.

Like if Deion does nothing at Colorado for the next 2 years are we going to be saying, yeah but look what he did at JaxSt?…

Just like it’s not apples to apples comparing the Pac-12 to the SEC?

Surely when Mario was there, it was the hardest division (much less conference) in college football…

Nonetheless, penalties killing the Rebs this drive. The fightin’ Jimbos on the verge of a lead with a time-consuming drive

Edit…LMFAO what was that

offense is just fun. Who wouldn’t want to play for that?

Just hoping we see some more spread out concepts and motion tonight from our guys.

Well Mario had 7 ranked wins at Oregon and 8 in his career vs Lanes 5 at Ole Miss and 8 in his career. So For all those extra chances he seems to not be winning them.

You make a good point. However you are comparing the coaches to each other.

If Deon was being compared to another coach who also had HBU experience I think it would be relevant.

Don’t think A&M can win without their starting QB. He’s so much better than Max Johnson

Even if that other coach had more (and more recent) success in P5 than Deion and this is a P5 job? Yeah idk bout that.

What a catch sheesh.

Refs have been going against Ole Miss all game too.

People love to casually omit the fact that at USC he was under crippling sanctions that were worse than Miami’s that allowed his Junior and Senior players to freely transfer.
