Lane Kiffin

My only concern with Kiffin is not knowing if he'd stay long enough to bother. Each job he's left for has been a promotion. And we're not exactly at the top of the food chain. It would get old worrying if he's gonna bounce every time the next big name job opens up.
Miami would be near the top IF Kiffin was winning big. He’d probably jump an NFL job, if offered.

That's how UM thrived in the past. Get HCs that win championships and go to the NFL, find the next hungry HC and do it again. No problem with that
Spot on. I’d love a HC to stay and win big for a decade or more, but these days it’s unlikely.

Per the report, Kiffin is now set to make $4.5 million for the 2021 season. He will also receive a $500,000 bonus if he remains with the Rebels through the end of the season. That represents a $1 million increase over his previously-planned $4 million salary for this upcoming season.

Here’s how his salary breaks down over the next four years:

  • 2021: $4.5 million
  • 2022: $5.25 million
  • 2023: $5.5 million
  • 2024: $5.75 million
Including the retention bonus, Kiffin is now set to receive an annual raise of $250,000. Under his previous contract, his annual raise was $100,000, per the report.

Their AD says the buyout is “healthy”.

No way he leaves SEC for us.

yeah ok. his personality is for so fla. he'd score 75 points a game and be a ****y prick the whole time.
So because his personality is Flashy means, he would leave a Top 25 job with elite financial resources to come here? I really think some people overlook the quality of program Ole Miss is.
