My guy I gave the exact reason to the other guy, scroll up and read... matter fact naw lemme restate it.
“Lane Kiffin the HC for USC from 2010-2013 couldn’t succeed at a time when USC was going through a scandal and given sanctions from 2010-2012. 30 less scholarships in the span of those 4 years and 2 years of postseason bans?? Gee, It’s almost as if all of that can have a direct correlation with the performance and success of a coach. The gag is despite all of that he still won 8 games his first year and landed a top 3 class and then won 10 games and landed a top 3 class in his second year. Something manny has yet to do...”
If manny won 8 games first year and 10 games next year and landed back to back top #3 classes while battling sanctions and scholarship restrictions y’all on this board would be sucking him off but I digress. Also that wasn’t the reason why he got fired by the raiders
According to SBNATION.com
“Al Davis surprisingly picked the USC offensive coordinator in January 2007 to be the next head coach of the Raiders. Kiffin was just 31 years old. He was the youngest head coach in modern NFL history. It was a bold hire, but given Davis' track record with young coaches, most liked the move.
He went 4-12 in his first season, and Davis would reportedly ask him to resign. Kiffin has a history of not resigning.”
Am I saying that Kiffin is the best coach for Miami if Diaz is canned? No...Would I interview a younger more proven coach or former NFL Coordinator before Kiffin?.. Absolutely, but to say that Kiffin who had legitimate reasons as to why why he failed at a previous program and real obstacles against would not find success here in Miami if everything is given a clean slate is Cap bruh. Immediately recruiting and our offense would improve off rip.
