Landing Shyeim Carter would have a huge impact for years

He is a classic "SEC recruit" that colleges outside of the SEC aren't even trying to get becuase they believe he is a lock to end up playing in that conference. If we can get him it would send an immediate message to everyone nationally that the U has as much appeal as the top teir SEC schools despite its "lack of" facilities and fan support. Its exciting to be in the hurt for kids that seemed so far out of reach the last 10 years. Hopefully Richt can seal the deal on this kid.

Please stop with the "SEC recruit" label. Its getting annoying as ****. Theres a world outside of sec football.

Hopefully we can land his close friend Devonta Smith out of Louisiana too....only receiver in his caliber is Jerry Jeudy....we could use those two in the 2017 class

I believe that the SEC is over hyped. However the media and other outlets for one reason or another push that view point. If we want to change that perception we have do it on the field and on the trail.
 
bammer fans seem pretty confident he's theres. if he wants to play early, he should choose us instead.

He took a OV here and CMR has taken I believe two in homes with him including today

recruit sites say bama fav but he visited lsu last week and miles is putting a great class together. carter could come to miami but is a louisiana kid and if miles wants them he doesn't lose many of them even to bama. if its not um it probably lsu not bama.

i know people on here think osu, bama , michigan are gonna get every recruit in america but they can only take so many. carter to miami is long shot but a shot worth taking him and byrd could play immediatly here, would have to wait at bama and lsu .
