LANCE GUIDRY

They ran the same 3-4 plays all game and we couldn’t stop them. Guidry is and has been a liability..: he’s been outcoached by every acc team he’s faced except fsu. Terrible indictment

There is no urgency on defense, 3rd and short guys struggling to line up. On pivotal downs leaving people uncovered until fans had to scream that someone is uncovered(this happened at least 3 times in the stadium). Predictable plays and we still couldn’t stop it, it’s mind boggling

Fire him and let Jason Taylor be interim DC. At this point, it doesn't matter if it gets worse after trying: we need to try something to shake it up--ANYTHING--because the season is over if the defense can't be shored up.

We lost this game today because our defense can NEVER get off the field promptly= no rhythm for the offense and no game control from our OL/running game to wear down the defense.
 
Besides FSU, this was the fewest points Guidry has given up in ACC play.

A good week for him is just as terrible.

Guidry has had plenty of opportunities to dumb down the defensive playbook but his pride and his obstinance is getting the best of him. Players look confused all the time and are never set. We’ve seen this before with other coordinators. Some don’t have the humility to adjust because they see it as an indictment of their defensive philosophy.

right he will walk into press conference, smile from ear to ear, and talk to the reporters like they are stupid. He's all sunshine.
Dawson will at least be critical.

If I had to guess… Jason Taylor had pointed this out on more than one occasion but got met with resistance. No way a HOFer isn’t stating the obvious in meetings.

If JT decides to bail at the end of the season it’ll due to Guidry not being able to get out of his own way.

He looks checked out in the Monday press conferences. Something is up with him.
Regardless if we want to get to were we need to be....he has to go.
They should not be this bad.

yeah and he was almost embarrassed by it.
 
How much is Guidry getting paid, it's gotta be at least a mil

It shouldn't be hard to find someone competent with that type of money :pgdead:
