Worst DC in Canes history?
Either him or the nepo hire that led to Golden losing his job

Al golden never had a championship offense or QB held back by his bad defensesThis was a bad season. But tbh I think too many is overrating how bad this season was all the while forgetting those Al Golden years.
Those years were painful.. literally tried to turn us into Penn State
Totally agreed.Al golden never had a championship offense or QB held back by his bad defenses
We’d be in the playoffs with No D
Way worse than golden years. We make the playoffs even with that defense. That whole philosophy was bend but don’t breakThis was a bad season. But tbh I think too many is overrating how bad this season was all the while forgetting those Al Golden years.

Yeah that's recency bias. The Dorito years were a horror show.Don't get crazy man, lol.
Hes right. If we gave up mainly field goals we'd win the NC with that offenseDon't get crazy man, lol.
The Wefense would probably have limited big plays and forced a fg here or there and managed to make one more stop but what would it have made worse? We’d be in the playoffs with No D
Agreed and would love to know what really happened ?I honestly have no idea what happened this year. We used to praise Guidry last year for halftime adjustments and patching together the 3-3-5 stack when we had so many injuries. His Marshall defenses also looked pretty sound. No idea why it looked like he forgot how to coach this year and how his area of expertise (safeties) were our weakest unit.
I never root for someone to get fired. I actually like him as a person. That being said, this was epically bad and compounded by the fact that we had a generational offense.
In my opinion that makes him the worst.Probably not the worst but potentially the DC that cost us the most in canes history
