Lamar Miller.

Moreno will be injured by week 3. They need a big back and an NFL-caliber offensive line. Miller is still their most talented runner.

Moreno with the exception of last year Moreno is always hurt and he lacks vision... He benefitted from playing with Manning... That being said, Milker is their best back but this knuckle head coach is trying to make an average qb with no pocket presence and a lack of accuracy beyond 10 yards into Marino... Miller should have had more rushes... Phibin will be gone next year... Why did they draft Jordan? They traded up for him...

Yep. And weren't the dolphins supposedly looking into teams who might be interested In trading for Jordan lol. Funny how quite a few people ripped lamar and Olivier on here calling them divas(NFL draft pick but is a diva lol wut?????) and **** and Olivier had double digit sacks and lamar is the best back on the team......

I wished they found someone to pick up Jordan... I just knew they were moving up to pick a lineman to replace Long... Nope... These fools traded up for skinny, injury prone, DE that couldn't do much... They could have waited for him... I really don't like Phibin... I was surprised that he retained his job...

Yes, but didn't he play for a traditional defensive powerhouse college program with long history of great Dlimen in the NFL? I mean, can you even count the number of All Pro Duck Dline players?

Haha I don't know what that management was thinking....

I like Miller and he was a great Cane. But he is simply another Willie Parker in the NFL. Fast as can be, but a butterfly could bring him down.

Yeah, Moreno has had 2 pretty good years, rookie year and this last year. The other ones he was hurt a bunch. Still, he's a good back and certainly not one-dimensional. Him and Miller should be all the running game you need if Tannehill is doing his job.

Tannerhill's job should consist of throwing every other series... He should hand off the ball for 3 straight downs... The guy has a gun but he's inaccurate... He'll be good throwing 15-20 times a game... He ranked 7th in attempted passes... That's too many passes for him...

O-Line couldn't run-block so the Dolphins had no choice but to pass. No need in rushing 30-40 times a game to only gain 60-70 yards.

Moreno is better than Miller. so yea, moreno is the starting RB

I really don't see how this is true... He had a better season but he playing with like 4 potential pro bowlers in Thomas, Decker, J. Thomas and Welker... He had Manning behind center... The guy was like the 5th option on that team... He benefitted from great weapons... He did absolutely nothing until last year and Broncos just let him walk willingly... I don't think he's better than Miller right now... He's injury prone and lacks vision... More than likely they'll try to give him the starting reps because he's a big back similar to D. Thomas at one point but they're going to try to be a pass first team anyway and he'll have minimal impact...

Miller does also sadly. If the Dolphins are a pass-first team next year, Moreno is going to get more time because a. he can pass block and b. can be a receiver.

Lamar has all the potential in the world to be great. But his lack of vision is really holding him back. I will never forget that play against the Bengals where he should of definitely had a TD, took a horrible angle and then fumbled the ball. His best quality is his speed but his lack of vision reduces his long touchdown opportunities. I think he has gotten better though at being more physical and I think he will continue to get more physical as he matures.

Overall, I think Moreno is a more productive back but Lamar has more potential. Hopefully this is a good wake up call for him.

1 yr deal for 3 mil that's not an idiotic move... I agree he's injury prone, but when healthy the guy is good, plus he's an excellent pass blocker which is something the Fins haven't had

the dude got beat out by an over the hill McGahee in denver before Peyton got there.

he is very average and doesnt really bring anything to the table that the current RBs dont have. dumb pick up

Actually comparing an RB with one of the best OLs in football to an RB with the worst running OL in football.....smart.

when Lamar was waiting to be drafted and Duke was still in HS signed with us...
a scout pal of mine said Lamar runs like he is 170 lbs and duke runs like he is 220 lbs...truth..

Lamar seems lazy...no show Mareno will out hustle lamar and start but lamar will get his touches all healthy RBs get touched in the NFL...

its just what he does with them

He's only played 2 full 16 game seasons... in 2011 and 2012 he played a total of 15 games. Yes he is injury prone, but for 1 year and 3 million it isnt going to hurt you.

Plus he won't be shouldering all the carries, they'll still use Miller and Thomas

I wouldnt have liked the deal if it was for multiple years and lots of $$$

Having a Hall of Fame QB, who can put you in position to make great plays is why Moreno did so great. he always had potential but he needs that QB as a leader. he is not a starting back. i was never a big fan of his coming out.

I said time and time again to everyone that Lamar Miller is a great back when there is a HUGE hole in the Line and he can use his straight line speed. it has to be perfect blocking for Miller to be a great running back. I loved him at the U but i knew his game wasnt going to translate to the NFL well because he has no moves, he is like a track runner with the football. he used to go down very easy and that made me mad alot of times.

There were games when the team actually ran well with Miller but the coaches didn't allow him to touch the ball more than 14 times... I remember a game where Gruden even said they needed to continue to run with Miller... Before the fiasco they were actually better run-blocking than pass blocking...

I remember that game... He was actually killing it... That was a bad fumble but it wasn't a bad angle he broke a few tackles and a player ran behind him for the strip... They benched him for the remainder of the half... The kid made a bad mistake but he was doing everything right until then... He was actually playing loose... Miller is a better back than many of you all are giving him credit for... If he was running for Denver I believe he would have had close to 1200 yards... The kid actually improved this year but he wasn't getting enough touches...

Lamar is the most frustrating running back that I have ever watched.
He has all the physical talent in the world to be an All Pro running back but he lacks even adequate vision and his pass blocking is poor to boot.
Give me Moreno all day vs Miller. Moreno is a true hard running RB. One of the reasons why he gets injured as much as he does. Hopefully he's learned to run smart.
