Lamar Miller...

I think Miller would have added at least a win to this team. Dont understand why ppl are happy hes gone

Looks like Lamar has found his role spelling Bush, and today he made it count. He showed patience on his TD run (which for a second looked stuffed), made his move and was gone. Yes, it was against a rather gassed D in the 4th, but he did his job and put the game away. Gotta be happy for him. He looks a bit bigger too, which should help.

Lamar Miller is the most overrated RB in Cane history. lol. Soft, mentally weak. Kid was a 210lb RB that ran like a 175lb weakling. I sure as **** wont miss Mr Softie.

:ibisroflmao:

Oliver Vernon with one of the hardest hits Ive seen on a kickoff return

if there's a Dolphin player we miss a lot, it's Vernon not miller.

Why Cant we miss both?

Negged.

I still go ******* crazy when I hear this and the scary part to me is its the majority opinion

One is the first 1000 yard back since Willis that may have given us the top RB tandem in the country

The other had 5.5 sacks vs D1 competition in his entire career

I understand our defense is horrible, but OV doesnt impact the game anywhere close to the way Miller can and did as a Miami Hurricane

Some of the dumbest **** i've ever seen. There's a ton of people on this board who do nothing but bash Lamar Miller. Some ppl tried to say that Jarrett Payton was better than Miller.

WTF would Miller do for us??? I'm talking about for US, not for the Dolphins. He would have come back, put up some eyepopping stats that made his fanboys swoon, then disappoint us with another "sore shoulder" excuse and turn into jello down the stretch. The man was the king of the duck dive. Never seen a 210lb college RB get taken down like a 175lb weakling so many times in my entire life. This man is the perfect embodiment of everything that was wrong under Shammin - all world measurables, all-pus**sy heart.

Yea I don't understand it either. People won't get over the fact that he left early because he did what's best for him not for some fans that don't even go to games to support the team.

Lol really???

He would have given us another big play threat. And you dont think having Duke would have helped in the wearing down aspect. Just because he isnt a 25 carry guy doesnt make him worthless

The only early-entry guy that I don't feel burned by is Miller. I completely understand his motivation to get to the league and begin making NFL money. No need to roll the dice.

The thing with Vernon is that, even though his resume is much more sparse than you'd expect for a Junior, his return would have added depth and experience to a position that is among our weakest. I think that's where the "I miss Vernon more than Miller" stuff comes from. I disagree- Lamar Miller was probably the most exciting thing to hit this program since Devin Hester. But I see the sentiment (especially after watching our DL try to get to the QB).

I agree about Miller leaving early. Good for both sides. I dont blame him one bit for taking off and we're better off having kids that actually WANT to be here, instead of a kid that is babying his shoulder and fretting about "gettin paid" before one more hit knocks him out of FB for good. What good would his 4.3 speed be this year for us if he is constantly worried about getting hurt before he gets paid?

This thread makes it pretty obvious on who here has actually played sports and who hasn't. Injuring your shoulder as a RB is one of the worst injuries you can have, pretty difficult to take on a defender with a bum shoulder. This place is Grassy 2.0, absolutely pathetic.

I'm still a little shocked at the **** Lamar Miller gets from the fans.

Dude is pretty **** good.

He ran for 1200 yards, but he wouldn't help us this year. It's solid logic man.

Not to mention he was a true home run hitter. He could change a game on a dime.

But he couldn't run over people after he injured his shoulder man. What a *****. Pathetic that he was ever on this team.
