Lamar Jackson

We offered as WR. Same thing with the USF kid. We've missed quite a few game changers. UL is getting some good ones

Reason #29 why Miami should've be a spread team years ago.

How many stud college QB's did we not recruit because they didn't fit our system?

He will be a WR in the NFL he should have gotten a head start.

You think UL cares about that? Wish we had that problem. Rather win and never have an All Pro NFL guy. The NFLU crap we been screaming for the last decade or so is tired.

Pains me to watch this kid play, he is Michael Vick in a bigger package. Who wins more games at Miami the last couple of years, Jackson or Kaaya?

We'd be a 9/10 win team with either one.....Lamar is electric but he hasn't proven to win the big game yet, same as Brad

Hasn't proven to win the big game yet? He's their only weapon. With our talent he would have won 11 to 12 games here. Kid passed for over 3500 and ran for over 1500. Let's not act as if he sucked in his big moments. He was killing Clemson lsst year.

BS, are you telling me we don't beat UNC, FSU or ND with this kid at QB last year?

A-freaking-mean, Coach.

With the type of athletes we get here, and the attributes the upper echelon QBs in south florida possess, there is just no question about it.

Louisville has literally outperformed us the last decade picking up on our f-- up evaluations.

Dude is just to good. The thing that is crazy to me is Louisville is constantly recruiting south Florida. They get the three stars that on the verge of four star that have chips on there shoulder. Like Robert Hicks, dude was all over the field last night vs Bishop Gorman.

and yasir abdullah, trenell troutman, tutu atwell, nik bonnito(we should get this kid), dominick watt, jarret jackson etc.

the list goes on and on and thats just 2018

What are you gonna do? Can't sign them all.

Correct. Can't sign them all. However, you have to be a phenomenal evaluator and pick the right ones to target and sign. Unfortunately, we didn't do that with Lamar Jackson and haven't done it enough, quite frankly, since Booch David left.

I was a big pro style dude i hated spread but Im with the times now

It should of never been an issue... Coaches were just being lazy and stubborn... The more athletes the better... Coaches can always adapt... If coaches can change their gameplan from relying on a qb to have a big arm, then they could adapt to having an athletic qb. I mean championships were won with wishbbone qbs and pocket passers. Why not combine the two? That is what is happening now.

If you wanna win a national title you better have NFL talent on your roster. Miami won all it's titles with a lot of platters/coaches with NFL pedigree.
