All the decommits so far have been drops it seems. But yes, Ladson is the first L of the year. Not to be a sunshine pumper but if we are going to lose a recruit, WR is the one spot where we can afford to do so. All the focus should be on OL and DL.
Your right, this L is not really out of need, it's because of his talent and being in our back yard.

Another top level player leaving South Florida. The upside is that it’s not a position we are low at, but we still can’t seem to pull the top guys every year. At least its only April and we can find a way to rebound

Its why we are in the place we in trying to get back, if it keeps happening we will always be almost back (to elite status)

Also what’s this BS about taking care of him at 34? That is what we are known for not clemson. His reasoning for going there is pretty much the best reason to come to Miami he’s completely brainwashed

Exactly.

How many of DABO's players have reached the age of 34? I'm not saying that Dabo isn't TRYING to build a whole "Clempson family" thing, but there is absolutely no proof (yet) that he has accomplished his goal.

As a guy that just spent 9 months living in Greenville, SC, I can tell Ladson (and his mother) that the whole "take care of people" thing, in that part of the country, is highly dependent on pigmentation.

I could take him on a driving tour of the area and show him how well you are "taken care of" if you are black. He won't like it.

Its kinda hard bringing in top talent when we're not winning consistently

(and losing three straight plus getting blown out on national television doesn’t help)

offer John Dunmore right now!

Keep recruiting Ladson until he puts pen to paper. You never know what could happen if Miami beats Clemson for an ACC Title and is in playoff contention. Also, I read an article the other day that Haselwood out of GA is interested.

We really don't need another WR if it aint Ladson. I say stick with Payton and keep in Ladson ear. Most on here who have seen Dunmore say hes just a workout warrior.

If ARichards comes back after this year its really not a position of priority for this class. We took 4 studs with this past class and have 3 studs in the 2020 class. Like someone said, we need stud OL, DL, LBs and DBs. Everything else is icing on the cake.

Unless Richards has a devatating injury in the first game of the season, there’s 0% chance he comes back.

If we are not able to flip Ladson I would sell Richards on playing wr here even though I really want him at safety.

It's still a long way from NSD, BUT hey we should already know, Miami won't get them all (local studs).. Maybe this why Stevenson transferred from South Dade (he knew Ladson wasn't going to Miami) SO he didn't want to play with him and probably figured it would be best to play against him!!
