Played physical football tonight. Kinda resembled Antrelle Rolle a bit. The play when he tackled the Wr and "Rock Bottomed" his *** on the sideline was awesome. And how about him jumping the route on the hitch and almost caught it for 6 the other way. The Only corner I seen jump a route when the Qb stares him down all year. Dude played a helluva game.

encourging....hope he can keep it up

I dare anyone to find someone who drew more offensive interference penalties in 1 game than gunter did tonight

Honestly, he could have had more. He really had a good game tonight, although he probably robbed Deon Bush of a pick in the second half. That tackle on the sideline also gave me a slight woody.

Miami is going to have a pretty nasty secondary next year. FSU's passing game is not very good but they made some plays tonight.

At 4-4 I'm more optimistic about this team than I was when they were 4-1.

He had a knack for being there and getting physical. Needs to work on his hands a bit but that's knitpiciking, kinda.

Our secondary should be sick next year along with the LB's.

We just need a DL that's not JAG's or else it doesn't matter so much.

There's just a different sound when he hits somebody than other CBs. He's got a little Eddie Johnson in him out there.

**** of a game he played last night.

Gunter and Bush are the only defenders on the team that actually read patterns and jump routes. I lost count of how many times a LB (usually Perryman) was sitting in zone covering grass and then gave up a completion because they wouldn't trust their eyes and work out to the 1 WR in their zone. Perryman is too quick, fast and experienced to just sit flat-footed in coverage when there's a receiver 3-5 yards beside him. He made a play vs. BC but he needs to regain that confidence and be aggressive in zone.

He wasn't playing this well early in the season. Seems to be getting better. What's that called again? Oh right development. Something the defense is doing but not the offense. Hmmnnn

Not only that but he's a guy our staff keyed on even though he really had wasn't recruited much.
