All he did was beat up on weak *** ACC and Pac-12 teams his entire time there and the handful of real teams he played he lost. If I remember correctly he played the least amount of top 25 teams of any Notre Dame coach in history(since the rankings where started).
 
Kelly basically killed a kid and covered up a sexual assault that led to the suicide of a student.

And he still cleaned up and recruited at an elite level.

This man -- at LS fkn U of all places -- will continue to do what hes done his entire career on the trail.

Not entirely true he has several good wins over ranked teams at ND, and he did get beaten badly in 2 playoff and 1 BCS Nc game.

He was also severely undermanned in those 3 games two with Bama and one with Clemson 2018 that went on to beat Alabama worse than they did ND.

Those teams pounded most teams they played.

their last 3 coaches have made title games and 2 of em were not good (one wasn't even close to good). Kelly is the best candidate they've hired since Nick. yes they'll make a title game as crazy as it sounds. Jimbo hasn't had an elite season since Winston left. Bama will always be bama but that hasn't stopped LSU under O. they still got the talent they needed. UGA has been stacking talent since Kirby got to Athens. nothing changed there

don't say that in here otherwise you get crushed. hes their best coach since Saban. Kelly performed well at Cincy, ND, and its not like hes gonna forget how to coach all of the sudden.

In his entire 12 seasons at Notre Dame he went 19-28 against top 25 teams(in the final rankings) and 3-15 against top 10 teams which is the lowest winning percentage against top 10 teams in ND history.

He’s their best coach since saban.

Hope he fails miserably - not sure he’s a good fit.
