Look at those hands!
I'd keep at WR now. Similar body type to Cager imo who grew into a TE at the NFL level. He's about 40 pounds from contributing at TE so let him work at WR and see how his body develops.
Yes. And if Colbie does well enough to leave for nfl after this year this kid at minimum replaces that body type.Normally, I'd be very reluctant on this. However, we need help at WR, and 6'5" with coordination is not common. So, I'll sign off given the circumstances. Adds variety to the room.
I'd love to see him have that kind of year but I am not going to engage in NFL-level hype.Yes. And if Colbie does well enough to leave for nfl after this year this kid at minimum replaces that body type.
I'll dive even deeper into the Kool-Aid. Say Duffy and Robinson commit in the next month, and say Trader is still CB'ed to Miami. I think there would be some pressure on the other WR who want to come here to jump into the boat.I just love that we may not be left at the altar. If we can somehow end the summer with Duff and Robinson as outside receiver commits that’s a huge win for the team considering the lack of depth
I was just giving a best case scenario that’s not my actual expectationI'd love to see him have that kind of year but I am not going to engage in NFL-level hype.

Do you guys know who this kid is?? I'm having trouble finding the commercial to post the link (which is probably best for the board), but he made a catch as a 10 year old that was featured in a Nike commercial narrated by Colin Kaepernick.
*This isn't about the politics or controversy surrounding the ad. This article is from their local paper (?). This is just to point out that the kid has a history of making big plays. And yeah.. its a **** of a catch.
Here's a link to an article about it, .

The catch, which was captured on video, turned Riverhead's Korey Duff Jr. into a bit of a viral sensation after it was shared across social media.riverheadnewsreview.timesreview.com
Here's the catch itself.
He's coming to play WRLong strider. Doesn't really look fast until you see him running away from DBs in the open field. Very similar player to Will Mallory. Let's try not to put 40 pounds on this kid and make him a blocker.
This spring portal might dictate how many in 2024. Hopefully we don’t settle for guys this year just to throw numbers at the problem. There should be quality options that can help this year, just have to be aggressive and pray they roll the dice on us.I think we need to take at minimum 4 WRs in 2024 via the portal and recruiting.
