Hey hey hey 25 is my year man. But this is the dangerous games we still have some holes pause that a team like that can take advantage of. This is one of the games I’m worried about.

One thing that is different about college football is how much a roster can change year over year. They added 25 transfers this season. We added the top transfer quarterback. What happened last year isn’t necessarily indicative of what will happen in 2024.

do the coaches remain? if so they have the coaching advantage.

We had the qb advantage last year and still lost.

This one of the games im not as confident on

Its coming off a bye though, and fsu rivalry right after. Its weirdly placed after the cali cross country trip as well.

Did we at that point? TVD could be viewed as physically shot and mentally hampered with the physical issues he had to struggle
Through. I suspect he had lost his self confidence by that point.
 
Remember when it was unthinkable they could ever match up? It was such a shock they took a big lead in 04 for another Berlin/Hester comeback.

Now it is an everyday occurrence. Just no Brock or Hester to bail us out.
 
@GojiraCane i don’t believe these rankings account for the last updates: still has Mack as a 3 star, booker as 93 rating when he is almost 97 etc etc which will influence the accuracy

According to the rankings at least, we are literally more talented than them AT EVERY POSITION GROUP. Every one. We have to beat these guys if you think talent trumps coaching. You can't have it both ways brother!

Actually, I agree with both you and Geta that this one is scary, lol. I have no idea how UL built a team made up mostly of mid-3-stars across two different coaching staffs into a pretty decent group. And Brohm >>>> Mario as a game day coach. But we "should" be favored. And if we aren't decimated by injuries this time around, we will win.

We have a quality upperclassmen we can depend on as well. I think it's a good mix.

3+ years: Ward, Restrepo, George, Parrish, Cooper, Rivers, the transfer center, McCoy, Mesidor, Kelly, JHH, the two transfer DTs and the transfer DE, Kiko, Bissainthe, DPJ, Richard, M Williams, J Harris, the transfer safety.

That's not Saban's Bama or Georgia. But they can beat Louisville.

The one thing that gives me pause is experience. Colorado has the edge there. But that’s not an insurmountable issue. Texas made it to the NC game with a team younger than ours last season.
