The play clock was at 1 when he called the timeout. It had absolutely no effect on anything. The Raiders ran the ball on the next play anyway.

So once they got the first down you knew **** right they were going to go for the win. If that timeout wouldn't of been called, they would of run it out.

You can say it had no impact and it might not have. But if I'm the coach of the Raiders I would of been happy for the tie until that timeout. If I would of gotten a first down like they did on the next play you are **** right I am going for the win. And I know a ton of others would do the same. So it could very well of had a huge impact. Not worth it at all. Absolutely nothing he would win by taking that timeout.
