Sounds like he just was acting like a child. For the first time in the process, someone wasn't kissing his ***. Al said it's put up or shut up time, called his bluff, and Kirkland got super butthurt about it and started crying with his coach.

I don't blame Al. He was a few days out and just wanted to know where he stood so he could use that scholarship or not. If he was coming, he would've said yes. This was made a big deal because Tim Harris and Kirkland acted like babies.

Sounds like this was a "smooth over" meeting where we told him if he wants in we can still give him a ship. My guess is we put on the show for Harris and BTW and the community since Im sure they could have figured out the kid didnt want to come without having a meeting with the family.

Kid is full of sh8t. Yesterday he was devastated, "heart broken" and we were his dream school, now we were "up there with Arkansas". This is bullsh*t, this guy was going to flake out on us. Still think there was some shady sh*t going on here.
 
If true, I like that Al Golden wouldn't lower himself to the level of the meeting. That's pretty telling.
 
I guess, in good news, we were filling up on used ships, so a lot of our main targets must be considered in by the staff.

Think this is a case of Ice pushing Denver to Arky. Never knew until recently they were even an option.
 
Golden lowered the dark tinted window from the backseat, watched Kirkland walk into the Hecht, shook his head and had his driver roll out.

ICE Harris blew this all up! This guy is just looking for attention, he's living vicariously through these kids. It makes him feel more important than he really is.

But Kirkland is out. End of story. The myth that he's a silent is laughable. I just hope to **** that 6 tosses up The []_[] on NSD.
