Can you explain what has happened here with DK? I have been looking through al of the thread and am having a hard time putting together all the pieces.

Basically, DK overplayed his hand and got called on his bluff.

1 of 3 things has occurred:

1) Denver expressed his desire to be in the class to his family and his step-dad got in touch with some people in the program to set up this meeting

2) Step-dad says I don't give a **** where you THINK you're going to school, but we gonna sit down with Coach Golden and iron some things out

3) Golden told Barrow to get in touch with Kirkland's family and set the meeting up

The consensus seems to be that this meeting isn't happening for Kirkland to say "up yours". Kirkland or Golden wouldn't consent to the meeting if they weren't interested in moving forward.

Thank you for helping me out here. Unlike some, I have not had all weekend to sit on this board and follow every single detail.

****3:46 update: Denver Kirkland's Stepfather adjusted himself in a nice leather chair in Al Golden's office, creating a fart noise. He felt self-conscious, so he kept moving around in the chair in an attempt to recreate the noise and alleviate the suspicion everyone had that he just farted.
