Kiffin Fired From USC, Will Somehow Coach Patriots in 2014

From Twitter...

USC football coach Lane Kiffin fired at 430am in parking lot after getting off team plane. Sent team bus back to campus without him. Ouch.

wonder if the new coach will recruit kaaya...won't change his mind but would be interesting

This has the potential to be disastrous! USC is the type of school that could make Golden the highest paid coach in America.

USC will go after a coach with west coast ties that is a young innovator, that also has NFL ties, who can bring alot of energy to the program. They will give him a very incentive laden contract, that also has alot of money to hire very good assistants. There will also be some assistants that have ties to the program, so look for Jethro Franklin to apply for a Defensive coaching spot.

Look for Jedd Fisch to get an interview as Head Coach, he would be ideal for them he has west coast ties and Pete Carrol although he left the program, still has back room influence at USC.

An actually 2014 QB Morgan Mahalak (Oregon commit) is Jedd Fisch's guy not Brad Kaaya. If hired look for Fisch to hire former Detriot Lions and current Tenn Titans WR Coach Shawn Jefferson as his OC. He has a keen offensive mind and would be good recruiter with ties to the state of Florida. An if not him then I take a breath UM WR coach Brennan Carroll would be tapped as OC by Fisch. That Give USC 3 coaches with Florida ties and Cali Ties in Fisch, Franklin, and Carrol.

Then Fisch could fill in the rest of staff with other more seasoned coaches such as Stanford LB coach Lance Anderson, UCLA OL coach Adrian Klemm, and probably keep 1 or 2 coaches currently on staff.

Go Canes.

Heard somewhere that if this happened after the season, USC would try to get Jeff Fisher. Especially if the Rams continue to suck.

Lanes a great coach just was in a lose lose situation first 2 years were solid then the sanctions started to take their tole
I'd love having him as OC after this year when coley takes a head coaching job
A big no thanks on that one! Lane Kiffin is the walking embodiment of nepotism. Everywhere he has been a head corch--Raiders, Tennessee and now USC--he has left a smoking crater. That is despite having talent (top recruiting classes galore) and resources at his disposal. Never has so little been accomplished with so much. UT fans were right to dedicate a sewage plant to him.
AND.......... he bites the hand that feeds him. He hurt Al Davis and UT fan base. He's untrustworthy and selfish. He's a dirty dog. I would not trust him in my home alone.

he was also hated by SC as co-oc, the guy at Washington was considered the better of the two...guess that's way he is doing well up there. Sad thing would be if he got a real opportunity again...he has done absolutely nothing and it would be a travesty if he did...also, a monkey can recruit at SC, that's like the big school's in florida, they sell themselves.

Al's not stupid, southern football players are a different beard...he knows that he will KILL college football with this base. Yes the players in SoCal are good, but they are not mad and crazy as our southern kids. No tree huggers this side of the mississippi.

if I'm SC I'm looking for someone with head coaching experience. There are some good coaches at lesser programs that understand the process. I would not take a chance, UCLA is coming really fast.

They're going to try to find Pete Carroll II. High energy guy who can motivate. In other words, the opposite of that Lame Corpsin. Too bad UCLA already hired him last year while USC was fcking around hanging onto a moron.

LULZ at Ned Fish even being mentioned by anyone about this job.

Kiffin is an assbag and a corch. He's incontrovertibly not the long term answer for USC.

But if I'm USC, I don't see the upside of firing him right now. The one good thing Kiffin is good at is recruiting and he'll keep some recruits and keep the cupboards somewhat full for the next coach.

And with their limited scholarships and injuries they're going to struggle mightily for the remainder of the year anyway. Why not wait and fire him at the end of November?

Their recruiting class was starting to fall apart. And he lost the team. It was over. They will be able to make a great hire.
