Didn’t LSU win with 2 losses ?I mean I see the benefit of it too. When a 3 loss team wins the title though it is going to be completely ruined IMO

Should be a 24 team playoff. 1-8 gets byes (P4 conference champs + highest G5 conference champ). That gives you 3 at large teams that get byes which should satisfy Big 10/SEC. 9-24 first round at home sites. You could even have the next round at home sites. More money for everyone especially the SEC/Big 10 bc you know they would get the majority of the first round home field and protects conference championship games. Also, you would have 3 points of drama for the talking heads to argue about (8-9 for the bye, 16-17 for home field, 24-25 for the final spot). Also, reseed after the first round and call it a day. Then next year 17-18-19 will ***** about the same exact thing.
They need some ground rules… 3 losses disqualifies you from playoff football unless you can do that and still win your conference, a loss to a team that finishes sub .500 should disqualify you, a loss to a G6 team should disqualify you. Or all of those things should put you behind the teams with 2 losses, no losses to sub .500 teams, and no G6 losses. Then, if there’s still room in the top 12, we will first take the team with no G6 losses, then the team with no sub .500 losses, then we’ll look at the 3 loss teams
Yes and that was even in the BCS era.Didn’t LSU win with 2 losses ?
Close thread LmaooImagine if he'd have fought this hard at home against Kentucky.
I say expand it to 64 teams and call it January madness or something like that , I wonder if anyone has tried something like that beforeShould be a 24 team playoff. 1-8 gets byes (P4 conference champs + highest G5 conference champ).
