Yeah I think he had to go JUCO

This is why we love sports. The beautyIn other breaking news, Maker Mayfield won the Heisman and was the number 1 overall pick, and Tom Brady was a sixth round pick.
What is the point of these threads?
This was during his juco recruitment. Was interest from both sides, not exactly sure the exact issue academically but couldn’t come to Miami.Yeah I think he had to go JUCO
This is actually true. Specifically with the rise of 247 the past 5 years. It’s not a perfect science, it never will be. There will still be guys undervalued/underrated, but they have been trending the right way of the 3 sites now. If you take a look at old classes from Rivals and Espn 5-10 years ago, your jaw would drop at the astonishing rate of busts. Evaluations are definitely getting better compared to before, I also contribute it to the rise of HUDL now too.recruiting sites have gotten a lot better at grading. Find me 5 2 stars who became a beast in the NFL in the last 5 years.

Nah Shaquem is proof that hands don't matter. Why aren't we exclusively recruiting kids without hands? 100% (1/1) of college footballers without at least one hand are now starting in the NFL. I'll take 100% handless NFL-worthy rate over the 75% 5 * rate every **** day.Urlacher was a 5'9" WR in the middle of oil fields until his senior year where he had a growth spurt and became the white Sean Taylor in HS. Still...he WAS offered by both FBS in-state schools.
...
Khalil Mack is maybe the worst possible example to point to for the discussion some on here want to have. Didn't play until his senior year, coming off a pretty devastating injury, and while he was pretty good (over 100 tackles as a linebacker), its not like he was the pass rushing phenomenon he is today...he had a few sacks. Mack is a great example of a scout taking a leap of faith and having a conviction on a kid he developed a relationship with.
Whats next...pointing to Shaquem Griffin as a stars don't matter argument? I mean, the kid had one hand ffs.
