Is he losing his luster? Their DE rotation this year was garbage. Kaindoh got hurt early and Robinson never materialized. They got good interior play from Durden and Wilson.

His recruiting has been pedestrian also. We're in year 4 of the defensive staff, and we had a walk-on sitting in the 2-deep that arguably cost us the GT game.

1 ain’t enough. As some post earlier....we had phucking Ragone playing meaningful snaps. How the **** does that happen at a program like Miami? Now I know McCloud was redshirting, Wilder injures, Steed injured but the coaches have missed year after year. People blame it on it being hard to recruit when Shaq and Pink has the positions locked down. That’s such a weak *** excuse. Other programs all over the country reload no matter what’s currently on the roster. Diaz has no proven he can recruit in 4 years and Patke is a bum. Just calling it how I see it.

No surprise but theres quite a few players who played under butch who at some point were All American more than once or 1st/2nd team AA....
Ed Reed, Bubba Franks, McKinnie, Dan Morgan, Joaquin, Vilma, Shockey, and probably even more tbh

Either way, not sure it really matters too much WHICH former great he was. What he's saying isn't very good about this staff. Unfortunately Blake James didn't hire Cristobal, and he definitely the kinda ***** to let a coach have 3 years no matter what, and our BOT/President don't give af, so hopefully Diaz is able to fix the problems Dee says, or we're just gunna suck the next 3 years...

The remnants of Jimbo are declaring this year, the willie croots going to take over.. we win by 2 TDS next year. No QB going to do them worse then it had us.

After Hester, I'd probably pick him as the #2 guy on punt returns ever.

But we've had a lot of good ones.

He was clearly one of the most explosive we've had.
