With the passing camps and how more seemless
young QB'S transition to the college game is,
I wouldn't count out a redshirt freshman or true freshman
to step up. It's happening all over college football.
Why can't it happen here?

Let them battle in camp/practice simple as that i don't have a favorite just want the best to lead our team

I want whoever runs the offense best and moves the chains and most important, scores in the red zone -- not just from long distance.

They'll give it to Ryan Williams, and Golden will routinely use "first year starter" as an excuse.

I don't care who can throw for 70 yards twice a game. I want the guy who can consistently pickup third downs, by any means. The guy who hangs in there and completes a pass in the split second before he's hit. The guy with the competitive fire in his eyes who leads instead of simply being in charge. The guy who understands if he's ****ting the bed that he's not the best guy to lead--on this day--and that has the determination to prepare himself to do better the next game. The guy who wants the team to win more than he wants to act like he is entitled to start and thinks the team is no more than a stepping stone to the league.

I don't care if the QB who can do all this is a five-star or a walk-on.

Im looking for olsen to actually step up and take over lead us to the promise land then Kaaya take over as a Rs Soph.... Olsen has a couple things over williams.. his athleticsm and knows how to get out of dodge in a hit and run situation

If we start williams next year then golden can give that excuse that its his first year starting and it would take a year away from either developing olsen or kaaya. Instead if we start olsen or kaaya next year then we can still not have a great year at qb but at least we'll be able to develop one of our young promising talents and be closer to that team we want to be. So eventhough williams might give us the better chance at winning games next year, starting him will only delay olsen's or kaaya's development
