Keon Zipperer

Something that a lot of people don't remember was that Hernandez would occasionally take a handoff at NE. Very small sample size but still gained positive yards on quick counts when he was lined up as an Hback. I could see us giving a few carries to Jordan. If you watch his highlights he can definitely break tackles and has some wiggle to him. Split back with him and Homer/Lingard with playaction to Jordan and have him pass protect. Can get creative for sure

Not to go off subject but the man has lasted 13 seasons in the NFL and still playing at a starter level at a position where physical play is required or lack of will get you exposed and ran out of this league. He has made almost $70 M in GAURANTEED money. I think that is pretty **** good.

if he had good hands and was a better overall football player, he would have made much more. He lasted that long because of his measurables and was somewhat serviceable.

Lol
70 M cash is probably in the 95th+ percentile of NFL TE’s in the history of the NFL when it comes to money made. I don’t think the argument of “he could have made much more” = he isn’t that good of a ball player. You don’t START for 12+ years if you aren’t good, bottomline. If it was only about the meauarables then Taylor Mays, Aaron Curry, Vernon Gholston and many more would have had a career, but those guys were not good and couldn’t play. But nonetheless, you are entitled to your opinion.

Okay. I understand your point. No one lasts that long without having some skill. I'll put an L next to my name for that.

BUT, I think the physical talent (we're talking about the top 1% in terms of combine results...overall) didn't translate on the football field, which was what I was trying to convey. He wasn't that good IMO. There were a ton of other starting TEs I'd much rather have. And that includes a plethora of less physically talented players. And this is complete conjecture on my part, but if the physical skills weren't there to begin with, no way he lasts more than five years with average physical abilities and less than average hands/route-running/blocking.

Don't understand why a TE would want to go to Bama just to block. Besides OJ Howard, who is overrated btw, who and or what else could they sell? That's just like a WR going to UF.

That's when that "we have so many champhionships" talk should be ignored and schools who actually produce talent at said position, the good guys, should be considered.

Look for Bama to spread out their offense and start using their TE more. With the WR's they'e brought in and with Tua being a more capable passer they could easily utilize spread formations and be very dangerous.

Ehh. I think they will stick to what they've been doing. Jeudy and Smith will be their top targets. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

HOLD THIS L iff your saying Vernon Davis isnt that good of a player. Having "some skill"?....Dude has been in the league for over a decade and is still is one of the better te's in the league. He plays f*cking TE, he isnt supposed to be a top target for an offense.

Golds, jacked, tats, reflective visor. This cat physically can't go anywhere else. The Miami is just way too strong in this one
