Michigan will not be outbid for this one.
I'd love to be pleasantly surprised here but if Michigan actually needs this player how do you match check books?

Gone are the days of "you can't lose this battle" if you're recruiting against a team that literally has one of the top 5 richest people in the world involved in NIL/Recruiting. Unless those saying that are secret billionaires willing to make it happen.

It's all a question of ego at this point. Ellison and Knight can outspend pretty much anyone. But are they fine with burning their money in that way?

Ellison is worth 234 billion

TrumpyCane thinks he could be fine dropping 50 million on NIL if he actually wanted to

**** he could probably give every 5* in every class 10 million for ***** and giggles if he really wanted

What about U$C? They have a history of throwing $$ at DTs in the Portal (e.g., Bear Alexander).
This is who I am concerned about. And they dont mind overspending either. Michigan isnt going to overpay for him. And UF cant outbid us. Its USC who will offer him some crazy NIL that totally blows everyone off the block.

isnt 14 tackles kind of sad vs what else is out there? I understand presence is big in this position but cmon...
14 solo and 12 assists.

I think you have to understand the position he played and what he was asked to do in the Kentucky defense. He ate blocks for other guys to make tackles. There probably wasn't 20 plays on the full season where he wasn't double teamed by a center and guard.
