Ken Dorsey Relieved of Coaching Duties

Ken needs to stick to being a QB Coach. He straightened out Cam Newton and Josh Allen got significantly more accurate with Dorsey as his QB Coach. He just isn’t a good OC.
Well, some people aren’t meant to be great head coaches without crazy good coordinators, but I digress…

All of that said, if he gets another OC look, you take the gig and feed that family. With all of this “failure” comes experience.

We talk about players going and getting that green while they can…no different.

Good move for the Cowboys. Ken was put in impossible situation in Cleveland.
I really hope Ken can turn it around because his career seems to be goin in the opposite direction as it was going about 4 years ago. And if he can help turn that ****show in Dallas around from being the laughing stock of the league, then he can get back at the front of the line if prospective head coaches.

So Kenny will be Cowboys coach in the 3-5 years lol
If anything this could potentially open a door for Ken to return to College as an OC..... Take a year or two doing this, maybe earn some credit for helping improve the Cowboys O and someone offers him a spot in a P4 conference.... He does well there and comes back to the pro's a better more seasoned Coach.....
All assumption of course but he's young enough still to make it work.....

This is false narrative. Allen works out with Carson Palmer brother in the offseason and been doing it since Dorsey was the qb coach there. He is the one who really worked with Allen and helped him get better and Dorsey just gets the credit f

McDermott said the decision to fire Dorsey was based on what took place over the season. Quarterbacks coach Joe Brady was named interim offensive coordinator in Dorsey's place.

"Obviously not a set of circumstances you want to be in, especially during the middle of the season," said Allen, who said that he talked to McDermott about why the move was made. "I love Dorsey as a human being; he's one of the good ones. He's been in this room with me for a very long time.

"I feel like I owe him a lot of the success that I've had in my career, and he's been a huge part of that, so it's sad to see him go. The fact is, we play better as a team, we probably don't have to make a move like that. He was a big part of what we've been doing here in the last few years."
