Ken Dorsey is the greatest college QB of all time

for god sake jacory broke Dorseys records....that means nothing

Dorsey was a winner period and a leader....something still lacking on this team. Stephen shows signs..seniors need to lead. Dorsey led as a Soph

Dorsey was a good QB but he had an amazing cast around him. In my view he wasn't even the best QB ever at the U. I've thought about this for a long time. Smartest Qb- Tossup between Dorsey,Walsh, Kelly, Kosar. My choice-Walsh. Best athalete- Vinnie followed by Kelly and Mira. My choice Vinnie. If I had to pick the best all around not considering the variations in supporting talent I have to go with Kelly. The thing that bothers me a little about Dorsey is that in his last season too many of his passes were short or overthrown.

Go back and watch his highlights and you will appreciate KD more now. Who gives a rip if he is #1 or #3 all time at the U. We have had a ****load of great QBs including 2 heisman trophies and numerous national championships. He is in the discussion of top QBs and that is all that needs to be said. His accuracy, ball placement, and ability to read defenses was second to none. A little bit of a stronger arm and all bets are off. Anyone who says one negative thing about KD after what we have been through since he left should be permanently banned!

Dude lost one game as a starter....one game by 5 points in pretty harsh conditions. Give me one other QB with 2* national titles, a record as incredible as his, the leadership ability and the skills. If you're putting together a college team KD has to be your first QB. Still not sure why he didn't win the Heisman over Crouch.

No he's not the greatest of all time, he's not even the greatest Cane's QB of all time. I would put Testaverde, Kosar, and Jim Kelly ahead of him. ****, I would put Morris ahead of him.

Ken Dorsey benefitted from having a team full of pro bowlers around him. He didn't single-handedly win all those games.

To the porster's playground for you. I won't even address the "he had pro bowlers around him" argument because anyone with half a brain knows why that argument is retarded.

Great videos Canefreak! I wish we would go back to the old school uniforms shown in the first video at the 1:42 mark. That must have been Dorsey's first year. I'm an old school cane and love those!

Said it once and ill say it everytime Kd was a good qb but the talent that was around him was unbelievable..... From the ol, wr,rb,fb,te and coaches he was truly blessed ..... Please look at some of the throws he made.... Had it not been for those players most of those balls were incompletes or ints ... And Dorsey didnt lead his soph yr are you crazy....but hes still a cane hold off on the GOAT reference

He did have pro bowlers around him. That's fact.

People actually think Morris is better than Dorsey???

Lmao thats awful. Arm strength is everything I guess

May I add that his one loss (and **** you if you consider * a loss) came to a team that finished 11-1 and no. 3 in the nation that year? The guy would have found a way to win with 4th grade girls playing around him. He just had it.

WTF are talking about...he was the already the leader on this team....during the spring coming off his freshman yr he took charge and made players work harder...encouraged kids to enroll early, work all summer and when fall ball was here he was the guy....Kenny was very vocal and ****y...and yes he had talent around him...as did other UM qbs who wasted it...KD did not...smart kid and hopefully someday comes back to coach here...

LMAO...kenny kelly had some talent to throw to with a rifle of an arm much like Morris..we see how that worked out...

i'm not going to dismiss what Dorsey did b/c he was part of the reason I grew up a Cane fan but lets not act like he could have done much better then Morris did last year w/ last year's team. Dorsey's teams were loaded simple as that and his success had more to do w/ the talent around him then his own talent level.
