You're more likely to see two poodles running an obstacle course than see this story on ESPN.

No matter what we do, the media and America will want us gone. Every incident is covered like Sandusky and any good is dismissed. This non-story about Kelvin Cain is nothing in the blip of things, just a way for the Media to take shots. When your a Miami fan, "it is us against the world."

Anyone who follows college football knows that kids get dismissed all the time, every team goes through it. This is a non-story. This will have no effect on anything. You want to know what it really won't effect the play of the defense.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Consigliere again.

TIFWIW Ferman says Cain did not show up for the FSU walk-through or the game. Likely upset about losing reps to McCord. Showed up today wanting back on the team.


Like someone else said this is the third strike for Cain and I doubt he is allowed back. Its simple, you pull a few no call, no shows at work and see how long before your **** is cleared out and they are looking for someone new.

I was expecting something from Cain this year.....but Mccord has really flashed...as light in the *** he is...dude brings it in games...maybe not that good of a practice player....but he shows something when he is in games....cant wait for him to add weight.

Actually, I've seen it happen. Shrugs. Not saying Golden did it but college football is ruthless. A lot of times when you see these guys transfer it ain't by choice. Meyer did this his first year at UF after they lost at S. Carolina and players were laughing it up on the plane ride home.

Depending on the terms of his coming back, I could be ok with it. This is just speculation on my part, but maybe (hopefully) Golden told Cain that he can comeback for the rest of the year and then they will work to help him find another team to play for. That would help us with our current depth issues, help Cain save some face and hopefully be able to get a scholarship somewhere else at a lesser program and make Miami look better for giving him a second chance while not really negatively affecting the team.

Even if that is not the plan, I am sure that any return by Cain is conditional on him getting his sh.. together.
