1. Its clear his seat is a little warm, could be hot depending on how they start the year. Fair or unfair, i don’t think he took over a great situation but its lsu. Almost everyone has competed or won a championship there, he has to overachieve this next year

2. Is LSU low on nil? For a an elite program like that why would a coach have to donate to their nil? Maybe the boosters dont like kelly enough to invest the big bucks? Is this like a PR stunt to get fans back on board? Maybe its all of the above but this news confused me for a program like LSU

This Kelly thing is going to implode on LSU is it's going to be terrific.

- Unable to take any staff (of note) from ND
- Reputation from ND as unlikeable and the antithesis of a players' coach
- Is not big into recruiting

He might do well, but I think he's an awful fit for LSU.

He did well at Notre Dame because ND as an institution is structured as a top down chain of command where the HC is superimposed as the autonomous authority figure, basically he’s the Head Priest of the program.
