2025 Kellen Wiley Jr, LB/ATH - Armwood HS (Tampa, FL) offered

D$ on the podcast yesterday says we probably only take 3 LBs. Says we want Wiley but didn’t sound confident
Central is a feeder school but if we’re serious about revamping the room and we’re **** bent on only taking 3 you drop Marcelin for Wiley.

Won’t happen this late in process in my opinion though. Really wish they take 4 if Wiley wants in.

My info is that the staff really wants Wiley and would love him in the class.

D$ in today's podcast added clarity. They will make room for any of the seven flip candidates that want in and Wiley (8 spots). That should tell you how highly they think of Kellen.

When it’s elite high on their board type I never worry about numbers. That means nothing when they think someone’s elite each class.

the on 3 website said he is number one in fla and I (his father) said he is number one in the nation to me . Just want to make that clear .. no one else said that nation stuff but me . but I've played and watch . and nobody in this class at linebacker impact the game more he does. people real deal tap out . seen it with my own eye
Are the Canes in the same $$$ ballpark as Texas? Heard some other recruits committed to and considering Texas are starting to get skeptical and the numbers they heard in the summer and early fall are starting to change the closer we get to signing day.

I'm sure you don't need my advise but I've seen it from a consultant perspective inside 3 large collectives, from a recruit's family perspective, and from inside a couple programs. It's a dirty game. Be careful if you're considering it. Oil money is big and they flaunt it but they're also the biggest cons and don't even have to hide it and get away with it.

Just like A&M did when it went south on Jimbo. The money and 'guaranteed' contracts suddenly weren't guaranteed and they had an out that they didn't tell you about and just stop paying and hold you hostage.

They've got you even more in the bag if you start talking about relocating, jobs, housing, etc. They'll ruin your life if their program goes south or if the kid doesn't quite pan out.

My $.02 that you don't need.

I'm sure where ever he choses will pan out for him and as far as the money everyone seems to want to match or beat each other . and I've heard a lot about the down side of the nil as a dad all I can do is support his decision and live with what comes with it. As long as he is playing and stays healthy the money will come. Just like Kirk Cousins we taking the franchise deal until it's time for the draft. All he wants to do is get better each and everyday

I'd probably trust Oregon and Miami most for NIL promises I think. Clemson is probably much lower in amounts, but the way Dabo runs his program and is completely unwilling to change or push kids out, I'd bet they're pretty up to snuff on delivering what they promise....

The same central that illegally practiced and got one of our recruits hurt? It would be in poor taste this last but he should’ve been dropped if we really only want 3 LBs.
